Publisher's Summary

According to the Chinese story, the heroine doesn't have a fairy godmother, but a magical fish who helps her. However, a golden shoe leads a prince to her, and they marry. Some sources say the story actually originated in Greece even earlier. Nearly years later, Cinderella is still having her story told by countless authors — including me. Don't let the title , Nobody's Cinderella , fool you. Most Cinderella stories don't show Cindy and her prince living happily ever after, but I do. Isn't that what a sequel is for? I liked Chase's character. Jul 13, Jacki rated it liked it. Jun 02, Cher rated it liked it. I've borrowed a ton of books from a friend, who seemed o have a theme. I've now read more romance novels in the last week, then I have in my life. I liked this book because it was funny, sweet and a quick read. It's about a geeky accountant, who's been in love with her boss since the moment she meet him.

He doesn't know she's alive until her friend interfers and open his eyes. I won't be surprised if this book actually became a series because some of the support I've borrowed a ton of books from a friend, who seemed o have a theme. I won't be surprised if this book actually became a series because some of the supporting characters, could easily have their own interesting stories to tell.

Overall, it was a good story but just too short for my liking. Mar 03, Nancy Luebke rated it it was amazing.

I really enjoyed this except for a little too much reference to sex. It was pretty fast moving and easy to like the main characters. A nice Christmas read. I've rated it a 4.

Why a romantic comedy that's heartwarming and sexy. Darcy Benton is the oldest cliche in the world—a woman in love with her boss. Other than that, she's no-nonsense, practical, mature, and sober. She's just the kind of woman Chase Whitaker wants as head of accounting for his company.

She's definitely not the kind of woman he wants in his bed. Enter Darcy's meddling, matchmaking best friend who has a plan to transform Darcy into a hottie designed to attract Chase's interest. All it takes?
